Marriage Enrichment
Marriage Enrichment Retreat for married couples this coming May. Details at the following link and in the attached flier: https://christianheritagecentre.com/events/a-great-mystery-marriage-enrichment/ Please do consider promoting this, perhaps especially to couples who have married in recent years or are approaching a first significant anniversary. The retreat aims to give couples a clear sense of the beauty and dignity of the marital vocation as an icon of Christ and His Church, whilst implicitly providing a response to the secular reduction of human love and the family, in order to try and build up couples in their vocation. SJOG Homes for Ukraine - Webinar, Wednesday 29th March, 7pm
Saint John of God (SJOG) Homes for Ukraine
is an official
provider of this government scheme. It is a
matching, training and support pathway for guests from Ukraine and
hosts in the UK willing to provide much-needed support. Their
programme is run collaboratively by Saint John of God Hospitaller Services
(SJOG) and Caritas
Social Action Network (CSAN) and some of our team have come to the UK as part of
the Scheme and bring first-hand experience of the process.
At SJOG Homes for Ukraine, they provide online
training for hosts and guests, transfer from the Polish-Ukrainian border, a
welcome box for Ukrainian guests upon arrival, a multilingual team to support
the needs of both parties, and thoroughly developed resources for both hosts
and guests to help navigate the process. Additionally, they ensure support from
local communities to make the experience as seamless and fulfilling as possible.
SJOG will be holding a
webinar for UK residents interested in hosting a Ukrainian guest or family
under the Homes for Ukraine scheme on Wednesday,
March 29, at 7 pm. You can find more

Together with the
Plymouth Diocese, they will also be holding another webinar on Wednesday,
March 22, at 6 pm to present their programme and encourage people to
support Ukrainians in need. Information about the event can be found
