Donations

Thank you to all who continue to support the Parish through the offertory and donations.

The Parish is wholly dependent on the generosity of our parishioners.  The offertory collection is the primary means by which our Parish receives financial support for the daily running and upkeep.  We do not receive any regular financial support from any external organisations. 

If you are able to give to the Parish, it is very much appreciated.  Please consider the best way for you to give and indeed if you could give a little more.

Donations by monthly Standing Order

Please consider whether you are able support the Parish by giving a regular amount.  A regular gift gives us a steady income that we can rely on and helps us to budget.

If you are a tax payer you will can increase the value of your donations by joining the Gift Aid scheme at no extra cost to yourself. 

It’s a simple process to join, please contact the Parish Office if you would like more information.

This is the most convenient method of making regular donations.  It is convenient both for you to give and for us to receive, and to administer the Gift Aid if you are a taxpayer. 

You may set up the standing order yourself, if you wish to, but you will need to complete a Standing Order Form and submit to the Parish Office after which you will be given a reference number to use when setting up your Standing Order. 

Alternatively, you can send us the completed form and we will send it off to your bank for you.  You can set up a standing order for the offertory and/or the Parish Building Fund.  Both forms are linked below:

Donations by BACS

BACS payments can be done using the Parish bank details.  Please make it clear in the reference what the payment is for.

Donations by cheque

Donations by cheque can be made in favour of ‘Parish of Our Lady of Lourdes, Bristol’, and sent by post to The Parish Office, Our Lady of Lourdes & St Bernadette, 2 Court Road, Kingswood, Bristol BS15 9QB.  Please include a note to let us know what it is for.  You can also put a cheque into the white ad-hoc donation envelope (available in church) if you choose to Gift Aid your donation and drop it into the Sunday offertory collection.
