On Sunday 6th October there will be retiring collection for CAFOD.  Daniel, a young man in Democratic Republic of the Congo, is carving a better future for his family with carpentry skills he learned in a CAFOD-funded training centre. Give to CAFOD today and you’ll fund training, tools, equipment and safe spaces so more people like Daniel can learn new skills and fulfil their God-given potential. Dr Nasha’s mobile clinic gets her and her team where they’re needed – fast.  When flooding hit Pakistan last year, the team travelled hundreds of miles to treat people who needed medical help after the disaster.  That’s how they met Meera.  Meera gave birth in hospital while her home was destroyed by the floods.

CAFOD annual supporter day

 Clifton will be holding its annual Supporter Day on Saturday 21^st September in the Apostle Room at Clifton Cathedral. The day runs from 11am to 4pm with refreshments from 10.30am. Tea and Coffee will be provided (bring a packed lunch). The keynote speaker is Neil Thorns, CAFOD’s Director of Advocacy who will be talking about CAFOD’s campaigns work and it work in Advocacy in the Global South. There will be other presentations of CAFOD’s work locally and internationally.
